LEADERSHIP CLASS

Link Crew trained leaders can also join the Leadership Class. This IHS elective class has four objectives:

  • First, to gain continued training and understanding in the dynamics of leadership through interactive lessons and hands on experiences;

  • Second, to be the commissioners of the different aspects of Link Crew and thus be responsible for monitoring the carrying out of Link Lessons, Frosh Spots, Social Follow-ups, fundraising, and Service projects;

  • Third, to work in teams with Leaders not in the class to monitor the interactions with freshmen to make sure interventions are set in place for students in danger of failing or in emotional crisis;

  • Fourth, to be the ASB liaisons to the homeroom classes across campus, conducting Spirit Counts, passing out and collecting ballots for homecoming elections, and any other needs that requires direct communication from a leader to the student body.

The knowledge you gain is priceless and we are in the process of making the class A-G eligible.
